Issary is a desktop email client for Windows, macOS, and Linux that works with any IMAP/SMTP email account. It's not a browser extension, not a web app, and not just a chatbot bolted onto an inbox — it's a full email client with AI built into the core writing, search, and summarization workflow.

Local-first, by design

Issary caches and indexes your mail on your own device. Semantic search runs on a local embedding model, so finding "that email about the budget meeting" doesn't require sending your inbox anywhere. It's fast, private, and works the way a desktop app should.

The more you use Issary — more volume, more history — the richer the local context it builds from your actual inbox becomes, so search results and AI suggestions keep getting more relevant over time. It's a usage-driven improvement loop, not a one-size-fits-all model.
