Terms of service
Last updated 30 September 2026
The agreement
These terms are between you and the individual trading as Issary in Sweden (“we”). They apply to the issary.com website, the Issary account, the apps you use with it, and the Mail desktop client (together, “Issary”). By creating an account or using Issary you agree to them. If you use Issary for a business, you agree on that business's behalf.
What Issary is
Issary is a set of tools for running your own work — among them a desktop email client for the mailboxes you already have — that all sign in with one account. Which apps your account includes depends on your plan and is shown in the Dashboard. Issary does not provide email addresses or mailboxes.
Your account
You must be at least 16, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Give a real email address and keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at support@issary.com if you think somebody else is using it.
Your content
What you put into Issary stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you share it with, only as far as needed to run Issary for you. You can download it at any time.
If you keep other people's details in Issary — your customers, the people who book with you, the people you invoice — you are responsible for having the right to do so and for answering their requests about it. Our privacy policy explains our part.
Plans and payment
Issary can be used for free. What your plan includes, such as how many assisted-writing requests a day run on our provider, is listed on our pricing page. There is no paid plan today: no checkout, no card on file and no recurring charge. When paid plans arrive, the price and the terms of payment will be shown before you agree to pay anything, and nothing you already have will start to cost money without your agreement.
We may change what the free plan includes. If a change takes away something you rely on, we will tell you in advance.
Acceptable use
Do not use Issary to:
- send spam, phishing, malware or unlawful content, including through intake forms, booking pages, quotes or invoices;
- collect or store people's data without the right to;
- break the law or somebody else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- get into accounts or systems you are not allowed to, or disrupt or overload Issary.
We may suspend or close an account that does, with notice where we reasonably can.
Assisted writing
Assisted writing produces suggestions, and suggestions can be wrong. Read what it drafts, rewrites or summarises before you rely on it or send it. If you connect your own provider key, that provider's terms and fees apply to those requests, and we are not a party to them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Issary running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or withdraw a feature or an app. If we withdraw one you use, we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.
Liability
Issary is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — such as lost profit, lost data or reliance on assisted writing — and our total liability for anything else is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have as a consumer that the law does not let us limit.
Ending it
You can stop using Issary and delete your account whenever you like, from the Dashboard under Data & privacy; the privacy policy explains what happens then. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. We will tell you by email before a change that affects you takes effect. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can delete your account before they apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
